Luke Hemmings is a married man!
The 5 Seconds of Summer singer, 27, spoke toEntertainment Tonightat theBillboard’s 2024 Golden Globes afterpartyand confirmed that he has tied the knot.
When speaking about his eye makeup, he said, “Thank you! My wife did it. Usually I do it for stage but she’s taught me well and she did it tonight. It’s a big event so she did it.”
Then, when asked how married life was treating him, Hemmings replied that things were “good.” He added, “It’s very good. I love it. She’s here tonight, she’s somewhere in there.”

A voiceover then said, “When you marry the girl that wrote this banger.”
“Luke Hemmings sitting at home next to his wife and dog watching his stans freaking out be like,” one personwrote on X(formerly known as Twitter) at the time alongside a meme of the singer’s face photoshopped over a person watching a house burn down.

“luke hemmings is married, LUKE HEMMINGS IS MARRIED,” another added, while a third joked that he slayed “the entire 5SOS fandom,” quipping, “Luke Hemmings look what you have done.”
Hemmings, meanwhile, got engaged to Deaton in February 2021 after they began dating in 2018. Theyrevealed their engagement newsa few months later in June.
The pair shared photos from the special moment on Instagram with Hemmings proposing in a romantic setting in Malibu, California, a source told PEOPLE at the time.
“With shaking hands but a full heart I proposed to my best friend earlier this year,” he wrote. “I love you Thao and I can’t imagine my life without you ❤️ @sierradeaton.”
