Andy Muschietti , theater director ofthe upcoming Flash movie , lease to his Instagram Friday to post a Zoom call he did with actress Sasha Calle . Calle , best acknowledge for The Young and the Restless , will join his upcoming multiverse - starting superhero film as the iconic heroine . Here ’s the incredible video .

According toDeadline , Calle was one of over 400 actresses who audition for the role , though most of them did n’t sleep with what role it was for until recently in the process . Many of the actress had to dochemistry trial run with star Ezra Miller(all over Zoom ) , which suggests the eccentric play a pretty important office in the pic , though that ’s just speculation .
One can more than safely get into , though , that no matter how large her role is in Flash , Calle is expected tocontinue the theatrical role in next films .
“ I saw more than 400 audition [ from ] the US , Argentina , Brazil , Mexico , Colombia . The gift pool was truly awing and it was very hard to make a decision , but we finally found an actress who was destined to play this role , ” Muschietti tell apart the trade .
The Flash has already begun film so Calle is carry to unite the production soon . It ’s currently set for release November 4 , 2022 and will feature cameos by Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton as Batman .
