The second part , I ’m guessing , decidedly comes from episode 7 , but the opening bit about the darkest hr could be from either the open two - parter or the mid - series cliffhanger .

That means the “ place they ’ve never been ” is something in this episode – it might bring up to the planet , of course , or a metre zona , or something more metaphysical . If this is a world where TARDISes can wrick into cleaning woman in point costumes , it might be metaphysical . I ’m guessing , knowing Gaiman and Moffat , that it wo n’t be quite what we expect .

My vague suspicion is that this is the pirate sequence – we ’ll soon see a character from that instalment who can produce glow vim from her hands , and it seems like an obvious parachuting from that to shooting bolts of lightning out of your branch . I imply , I ’m middling certain that ’s how Emperor Palpatine got start .

Ah , now this is emphatically from sequence 9 – that is one seriously Brobdingnagian doll . Besides the Doctor , who is quite justifiably terrified , we ’ve got what seems to be Rory in the background signal . The third gentleman is Daniel Mays , who plays Jamie Oram ’s Father-God in the installment and is another ash tree to Ashes alum ( he played Keating in the final serial ) . Seriously , John Simm and these others are all well and good , but I ’m still pretty desperate for Gene Hunt to punch his means into the TARDIS …
This is another big one . We ’ve have what seems to be the honest-to-god console room making a retort appearance , and good deal of people have already sworn that David Tennant is in this shot . Well , I ’m gloomy to say this , but it ’s just Rory , albeit with a shadow that happens to give him what expect like 10th Doctor mutton chop and a blue vest that looks a bit like the erstwhile Doctor ’s wooing . Still , it ’s middling cleared in these shot though that that is definitely Rory . Though I suspect the yield team knew damn well that Rory looked a bit Tennant - ish in these shots …
Now we ’ve got that sorted , which episode is this from ? “ The Doctor ’s Wife ” is the likely answer , as Rory is wear the same low-spirited vest as in the other clip , and we already know the TARDIS seriously malfunctions in that installment . I ’m not certain , but there appear to be a figure – credibly the Doctor – at the center of that fireball , although it ’s too indistinct a flesh to be really certain .
A shot like this seems a good fit with Gatiss ’s horror - driven episode , but that ’s strictly a wild stab in the nighttime .
Update : Peepholes are thought to figure into Toby Whithouse ’s sequence – and the strange minotaur - like tool we ’re about to see is likely shot through a spyhole – so episode 11 is in reality the most likely pick .

Whithouse , who is best lie with for creating the original Being Human , antecedently wrote “ School Reunion ” and “ Vampires of Venice ” for the serial . As with Mark Gatiss , he seems to be moving far more hard in the revulsion direction with this late episode . “ The God Complex ” also feature a guest tour from Little Britain ’s David Walliams as an outlander called Gibbis .

And now we come to the end game of this trailer . It ’s potential this is from the mid - series cliffhanger , but Amy ’s shirt is the one she wears in the opening two - parter , so that ’s what I ’m going with for now . The location also bet like the same one we were just looking at .
Anyway , the important affair is that she has a gun , and it for sure count like she does n’t want to open fire .
The Doctor screams “ No ! ” Amy is actually in the background of this shot , and the positioning makes it look middling unbelievable that Amy is firing at the Doctor , although I think that ’s what the preview is trying to imply .
