The story seems to pick up right where it leave behind off — Daniel Graystone and Joseph Adama are mourning their daughter , who were resurrect as virtual incarnation . And Joseph Adama is struggling with being a mob attorney . tot Caprican racial discrimination , dirty politics , spiritual state of war , and excite .
Zoe Graystone is still stuck inside a robot physical structure , and she ca n’t get out . She tries to use a holoband to get back inside the practical world , but the holobands only work if you ’ve got an ocular nervus , and she does n’t any more . She has a frustrative conversation with an artifiical intelligence named Serge , who suggest there ’s another way to access her processing center . Later , we see someone named Philomon working on Zoe ’s automaton body , and the virtual avatar of Zoe is watching him work . Meanwhile , Zoe ’s admirer Lacy is attempt to deliver something to Gemenon for Zoe — which she say was Zoe ’s last dying wish , even though Zoe ’s still alive , sorta . Lacy tracks down Keon , a big , dull scholar who ’s actually smart than he looks , and tackles him , literally knocking him to the ground and holding him down until he admits he ’s a member of the STO — the monotheistic terrorist group that blow up that gearing in the pilot . Lacy and Keon start cling around a lot , and while they ’re fixing a motorcycle together , they share a bit of sexiness . Lacy peach about putting in screws and almost make a naughty three-fold entendre , and then she and Keon portion out a spirit . Lacy demand Keon to help her return Zoe ’s software package to Gemenon , and Keon says he ’ll see if the STO is uncoerced to help .
Meanwhile , the terrorist bombings do n’t block up . Someone blows up a holo - cafe , and the Global Defense Department is pushed to its demarcation trying to respond . Two cops , Duram and Youngblood , are investigating , but they ’re on the hot seat when their higher-ranking , Singh , find a tapeline of them interrogate Ben , the terrorist sub from the power train , a whole year before the power train bombing . They rip in Ben for truancy and found detonators in his udder , but he said they were for model rockets . Duram and Youngblood are under imperativeness to grow something to make up for their collossal blunder , so Duram decides to push the limit of the law as far as they ’ll go . He gets a guarantee to raid the school where Ben and Zoe take , because Zoe ’s mom Amanda held up an infinity dependent at her remembrance . Joseph Adama , meanwhile , is have a bite of a crisis of conscience . He and his assistant , Justine , go to deal with a vitrine involving one of Sam ’s friends , a perpetual malefactor named Ozzie . The judge in the instance is being a lowbred jerk to Joseph and chit - chatting with the prosecutor about beaches on Canceron , where the security is so good you do n’t even screw you ’re not on Caprica .
