Edgar Wright Has Too Much Vision for a Marvel Film

Joe Cornish , theAnt - Manwriter who is also known forAttack the Blockand The Kid Who Would be King , revealed in an audience withPlaylistsome new details behindEdgar Wright ’s Ant - Man issue . Although Wright has express before that he left for creative differences , Cornish said that the effect probably startedmuch earlier .

“ When Edgar and I first metMarvel , they were in office above a BMW showroom in Beverly Hills , ” Cornish said . It makes sensation that Marvel , which famously makes picture show that almost all look the same due to its VFX process , would n’t have been in love with whatever Wright dreamed up . The musical theme that Marvel would say no to Wright is baffling , as I can not opine asking someone to do a less cool version of whatever Wright wanted . At any rate , they did n’t need each other : Ant - Man is still going ( Ant - Man and the Wasp : Quantumania , direct by Peyton Reed and write by Jeff Loveness , is out February 17 ) as is Wright , who has a ticket of task line up after his 2021 two-fold - punch of Last Night in Soho and music documentary The Sparks Brothers .
