I manage to play around with the FinePix Z1 when it was first released several months ago , and was quite impressed with the sleek metal flavor of the camera , as well as the topnotch - libertine ability - up and almost no shutter gaol . So I ’m beaming to see that Fujifilm release its successor today , the Finepix Z2 , which promise to be even good . It ’s a 5.1 megapixel tv camera with 3x optical zoom , and a 2.5 - inch LCD with a resolution of up to 232,000 pixels . The add-on of an ISO 1600 would also help the Z2 with low-pitched clear performance and wobbly hands ( like mine are after a couple of cold ones ) . It ’ll also record 30 Federal Protective Service VGA movies , and will be usable in silver , dark , blank , and red . It is slated to found late October this year , though a dependable rootage tell us that it wo n’t be uncommitted stateside . Pricing is still unknown .
