Google ’s native app versions ofGoogle VoiceforAndroid and BlackBerryis an exercise of what we want to see on ALL earpiece , include the iPhone and the Pre . But that does n’t mean it ’s perfect .

The major issue we have is the fact that text edition substance are n’t “ bug ” by the Google Voice app in society to send it through your GV number . You have to broadcast your messages using GV instead of with the default message client . This would n’t even be an issue ( the unofficial iPhone Google Voice clients have this as well ) , except that forthcoming calls DO get intercepted and rack up through Google Voice . The inconsistency is what ’s bugging us , and since this is Google ’s own OS and Google ’s own app , there should be a way for them to implement this feature .
Other than that , everything works pretty much as ask , and unspoilt than other GV implementations on other phones . you may view all the folder in your account , listen to voicemails , see their transcripts , make international call and do just about everything you may do on the Google Voice webapp .
