One day after news broke thatTristan Thompsonwasallegedly unfaithfulwithKylie Jenner‘s best friendJordyn Woods, Khloéattended a public event.
When a Twitter user criticized theGood Americanco-founder, 34, for “going outside the next day” after “someone cheats on you publicly,” Kim defended her younger sister.
“Would you prefer she lose the [money] too? A single mom has to work too boo!” Kim, 38, tweeted.
“This was a professional commitment planned far in advance and you better believe she is not waiting on anyone to pay her bills or provide for her daughter,” she continued. “PERDIODT!!!”

The pair wore matching outfits — black PrettyLittleThing sweaters paired with leather pants and pointed toe heels — and Khloé opted for a wet-hair look while Haqq styled her ombre tresses in loose waves.

Khloé, who arrived at around 7:20 p.m., appeared to be in good spirits despite the drama. She beamed as she walked into the clothing label’s new West Hollywood headquarters hand-in-hand with her pal after posing for photos on the carpet.

On Tuesday, reports surfaced that Khloé and Thompson had split after he was unfaithful to her with Woods, once a model for her Good Americanclothing brand.
Reps for Khloé and Thompson have not returned PEOPLE’s requests for comment. Woods’ rep had no comment.
“Khloé found out yesterday about Tristan and Jordyn,”a source told PEOPLEon Tuesday.
“The whole family is furious,” the source added. “They were blindsided.”
Another source told PEOPLE that the KarJenners are particularly upset with Woods, who hasmoved out of Jenner’s homeand is now with living with her mom, according to an insider.
They are “beyond angry and disgusted” with her, the second source said.
