Teyana Taylorwants to know her kids are safe when they’re withIman Shumpert.
When it comes to the time that Shumpert spends with the former couple’s daughters,Rue, 3, andJunie, 8, Taylor claims the former NBA star “consistently fails to properly care for the minor children.”
Taylor accuses Shumpert of “failing to feed them despite being in the [marital residence] with the minor children.” The mom of two also claims that Shumpert has been “smoking marijuana and being under the influence while caring for the minor children.”

Another incident is outlined in which Taylor alleges that Shumpert placed the two girls “in a rideshare in Chicago, which resulted in the minor children being dropped off at the United Center in general population while he utilized the services of a private driver.”
“Respondent consistently demonstrates a clear disregard for the safety of the minor children,” the filing notes.
Attorneys for both parties did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

The “Bare Wit Me” singerfiled for divorcein January 2023 but waited roughly nine months toannounce the couple’s separation.
At the time, Taylor spoke about keeping a united front with her ex as they moved forward as co-parents.
“In all fairness, Iman and I are separated and have been for a while,” Taylor wrote in aposton Instagram. “To be 1000% clear, ‘infidelity’ ain’t one of the reasons for our departure. We are still the best of friends, great business partners and are one hell of a team when it comes to co-parenting our 2 beautiful children.”
She continued, “Most importantly we are FAMILY & in the 10yrs together, 7yrs married, we ain’t ever played with or about THAT.”
